You were born into comfort and luxury. Your reasons for venturing into the disputed lands are your own and not for anyone else to know. You were raised with manners and decorum and that should be embodied in your roleplay.

You could choose to wear horns, have unique contact lenses or paint dragon scales on your skin. By selecting marked you are showing the world that you have magic in your family and who knows, perhaps even have some magic within you?

Low born:

Your parents perhaps are fallen fighters or drunken fools who left you in this world with nothing or something great. Growing up without parents has given you a shrewd and unique interpretation of the world. Skills that surely will useful in such dangerous lands. You weren’t raised fancy which allows you to walk on the wilder side of life and do tasks that others wouldn’t.

You might be human but you think and act like another. Being raised by an alternate race has given you a different view of your mission and the tasks provided to you.
