Refund Policy
This policy outlines the terms and conditions for ticket refunds, cancellations, and transfers for Burning Herald LARP events. It is designed to be fair to participants while ensuring the financial viability of our events.
Refunds are based on the amount of notice given before the event start date:

More than 30 days before the event:
Participants are eligible for a full refund of the ticket price. -
Between 30 days and 7 days before the event:
Participants are eligible for a 50% refund of the ticket price. -
7 days or fewer before the event:
No refunds will be issued.
All refund requests must be submitted through Burning Herald’s official communication channels.
Ticket Transfers
If a participant is unable to attend, tickets may be transferred to another person under the following conditions:

All ticket transfers must be approved and processed by Burning Herald

Participants must contact the organisers with the details of the proposed replacement

A transfer is not valid until confirmation has been received from Burning Herald
We reserve the right to refuse a transfer if necessary (for example, due to event capacity limits, safety considerations, or administrative constraints).
Reselling Tickets
Participants are not permitted to independently resell or exchange tickets without prior approval.
All ticket swaps or resale arrangements must go through Burning Herald to ensure:

Accurate attendee records

Compliance with safety and event requirements

Fair access for all participants
Event Cancellation or Changes
In the event that Burning Herald cancels an event, participants will be offered:

A full refund, or
-
The option to transfer their ticket to a future event (if applicable)
If an event is postponed or significantly changed, options will be communicated to all ticket holders.
Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that unforeseen situations can arise. Requests for refunds outside of this policy may be considered at the organisers’ discretion, but are not guaranteed.
