The Summoning:

The greatest minds of The Citadel convened and came to a worrying conclusion. If drastic actions weren’t taken then death, war and famine would spread like wild fire across the lands and spell the end of days for all. Quick and decisive action was required. Despite the rifts that had been spread between the varying regions all eventually agreed that action needed to be taken in order to counter the threat being instigated from The Disputed Lands. Messages went forth by land, sea and air conveying across a simple message, stand together or die. Many have answered and thus a new tactic was deployed, smaller strike forces composed of persons from all differing regions to seek out and reclaim The Line in order to push back the forces of the dark. The theory being that by establishing individual forces of persons from every region then it would be increasingly difficult to convert or persuade all other persons to abandon posts or betray their cause thus making the unit stronger and less likely to divide, at least that's the theory whether it amounts to anything only time will tell.
